About CSR
Social.Economy.Environment
Over the last few years, our focus has been directed to schools in order to promote awareness on the importance of education by providing scholarships, training for employment and on-job-training opportunities for the local community.
Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of what we do and it is practiced based on 3 key pillars, which are Society, Economy and Environment.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a commitment from all stakeholders and we established Tawasul Fund, which confirms the vision and mission to ensure that social responsibility is a concern of all stakeholders operating in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm.
What does CSR mean?
SEZAD accords high attention towards social responsibility and strives to promote the concept of give-back-to-community by urging all stakeholders and partners to support the community in Duqm.
Corporate Citizenship is a more trending word for (CSR) that enables companies to realise the impact they are having on all aspects of society including economic, social, and environmental. To get engaged in CSR means that, in the normal course of business, a company operates in ways that respect the value of society and environment.
Vision
To align the strategies, policies and procedures of the Special Economic Zone at Duqm with its wider social concerns, through introducing initiatives in education, health, environment and socially relevant matters.
Mission
To demonstrate the high importance we place on economic stability, social well-being, and environmental sustainability in a transparent and fact based manner, and to engage our stakeholders with governance and transparency to raise awareness and build competences at Al Wusta Governorate, so it becomes an exemplary economic zone.
