GCC Investment Prospects in the SEZ at Duqm

The seminar on "Gulf Investment Horizons at Duqm" will start at the Grand Hyatt Muscat Hotel on Tuesday. The symposium is organized by the Duqm Special Economic Zone Authority (SEZAD) and continues for two days.
HE Darwish Bin Ismail Al Balushi, Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs will preside over the opening ceremony. Around 300 senior officials and investors, executives, businessmen and guests from the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Sultanate will take part in the seminar. It will discuss a number of important topics to investors in petrochemical and mining industries, and project financing.
It will also include a session on investment in tourism and fishing industries, real estate. A number of agreements will be signed on the sidelines of the seminar. A field visit will be organised for the participants at the meeting, to SEZAD to showcase investment opportunities available for the investors.
